Dan is the Executive Director of the Iowa Alliance in Home Care. Aside from his role overseeing the direction of IAHC, Dan is also responsible for analyzing health care policy and regulatory initiatives at the state and federal levels, monitoring the impact of public policy initiatives on Iowa home care agencies and developing grass roots political communications activities. In addition to his work with IAHC, Royer, serves as an instructor and guest lecturer at Des Moines University where he teaches graduate coursework in health care administration and public health. Royer has a master's degree in public administration and public policy from Drake University and a bachelor's degree in advertising and music from Iowa State University.
Director of Member Services
Emily is the Director of Member Services of the Iowa Alliance in Home Care. Her responsibilities include creating and distributing IAHC's bi-weekly newsletter, maintaining and overseeing content and direction for the IAHC website and serving in an overall member services capacity such as event promotions.
Director of Education
Joah is the Director of Education of the Iowa Alliance in Home Care, overseeing the implementation of IAHC's educational programs and annual conference. He has a degree in Human Services from Grand View University as well as a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University. Prior to working at IAHC, Joah spent the last 11 years working as the Online Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
