IAHC's main goal is to represent the interests of Iowa's home health agencies. To achieve this goal, IAHC emphasizes three main areas of common interest that set the stage for all IAHC program:
The Iowa Alliance in Home Care (IAHC) is a non-profit trade association whose membership is composed of home care agencies. Headquartered in Des Moines and affiliated with the National Association for Home Care, IAHC is the leading organization in the state and is committed to supporting home care agencies through education and advocacy.
IAHC is governed by a 15-person board of directors. Additionally, there are six IAHC districts in the state. Members from each district meet in the fall and spring to discuss strategies for improvement, learn about legislative priorities, plan events and collaborate and network with fellow IAHC members.
